Adam Stoneham is fully registered with a license to practice from the General Medical Council (GMC). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) as well as the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). He holds the prestigious European Hand Diploma from the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand (FESSH).
He maintains an interest in all forms of emergency and elective surgery relating to conditions of the upper limb, especially the elbow, wrist, and hand.
He is actively involved in postgraduate medical education via Homerton University Hospital and the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of Edinburgh (MFSEd).
He has edited and authored over 20 scientific papers and book chapters and regularly lectures and presents at international scientific meetings. His research work can be found here.
